I have been working with pipe organs since 1973. Church organs were my first
passion, but with several major overhauls under my belt I became interested
in mechanical organs and I am now happy working with either. A partnership with
pipe-maker Judith Howard was set-up in 1983 (Page & Howard), which lasted 5
years, with a maximum of five employees. At that time my workshop was a railway
arch in Brixton, London. Following that I worked in Pembroke Dock, South Wales
as sole-trader with two employees, then more recently, on my own in Milton Keynes.
Using traditional tools and materials, I am equally at home cone-tuning metal
pipes in a dusty organ-loft, threading phosphor bronze wire for intricate pneumatic
actions, or making pipes and actions for my new organs.
These days my workshop has been condensed to mere garage-size, only fit for small-scale work and repairs.
Please feel free to browse this site for an insight into some of my activities and details of my new organs.
