
There are no photos of inside a saxophone chest, as there is nothing special
there. However, here is what it looks like underneath. The tubing assembly had
been latterly screwed down to the main chest, leaving the sax chest's stickers
hanging in mid-air. I have restored Marenghi's original concept.

The other sax chest, with its flexible trunking connected. On top are the two
sliders intended for tuning purposes, but I never use them as they cause an
increased pressure to be applied to the rank being tuned. At the back are four
trombone boots ready to accept their resonators.
